Who We Are

  
       
  The Arc of Johnston County, N.C. Inc. is a non-profit organization, affiliated with the North Carolina and National associations of the Arc.  Our primary function is to advocate for persons with developmental and physical disabilities and their families. 

Our chapter is represented  by a Board of Directors elected by the membership and is composed of parents, professionals, and educators who work with people with developmental disabilities as well as self advocates and other interested citizens. 

Meetings of the Membership are held twice a year.  Visitors and new members are welcome to attend these open meetings.
